Lieutenant Governor Jay Dardenne was the only candidate to attend the WRKF governor forum, Friday evening. That, however, didn’t stop things from getting interesting. Dardenne was asked to differentiate himself from U.S. Senator David Vitter.
His answer will send shockwaves across headlines, pointing to Vitter’s past prostitution scandal. The campaign took advantage of the candidate’s frankness and tweeted his answer.
Q: How different from Vitter? A: I have not frequented prostitution (at all), especially not while on the floor of the US Congress.#LaGov

The Dardenne campaign tells us that no media was there and without other candidates in attendance, Dardenne chose to answer every question from those in attendance.
